Souvenirs
The northern
end of Chaandhanee Magu is the locality for you if you are looking
for souvenirs to take home. A range of batik sarong with wrap-arounds,
wooden handy-crafts, candles and other memorablia are available
from the shops lining the street. Lookout for genuine Maldivian
hand painted t-shirts, lacquered boxes, miniature dhonis and reed
mats if you really want to take a piece of The Maldives with you
as a memento.

The Airport boasts
of a variety of cuisine available at the different restaurants.
For those who would like grab quick bite before taking off, the
first floor departure area has a coffee shop, while on the landside,
there is an ice-cream counter (Moven pick), and a snack counter
called Mariyadhu Restaurant. And for those who would like to eat
more elaborate food, there is the Aqua Restaurant.
